Jonny Stenberg

Jonny Stenberg is a highly experienced professional in the automotive and engineering sectors, currently serving as Group Design Leader at Volvo Cars since May 2024. In addition to this role, Jonny has been the CEO of Jonny Stenberg AB, a consultancy firm, since October 2010. Prior to Volvo Cars, Jonny held key positions such as Module Owner at Azelio and System Project Leader at CEVT, along with experience as a System Design Manager for Cooling systems. Jonny's career began as a Technical Manager at Scandinavian Ro Ro Construction AB, overseeing the development of innovative lashing equipment. Additional project management roles were undertaken at GKN Driveline and Getrag All Wheel Drive AB, focusing on automotive components. Jonny's technical foundation was established with a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Luleå University of Technology, earned between 1989 and 1993.
