Cathi Hunt

Cathi (CJ) Hunt has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Cathi (CJ) is currently the Vice President and Associate General Counsel for Global Labor & Employment and Litigation at Vontier, where they advise and partners with business leaders in the newly established public company. Cathi (CJ) played a crucial role in creating employment and litigation policies and advancing the company's culture focused on inclusion, diversity, and equity efforts.

Prior to Vontier, Cathi worked as an Associate General Counsel for Global Labor & Employment and Litigation at Advanced Sterilization Products, where they provided legal advice and partnership to business leaders on various labor and employment needs.

Cathi (CJ) also served as the Director, Corporate Counsel at Starbucks Coffee Company, advising executives on employment law across the United States. Before that, they worked as an Assistant General Counsel at Snohomish County Public Utility District and Associate General Counsel at Progress Energy, where they handled labor and employment law matters and designed cost-saving initiatives and wellness programs.

Cathi has also demonstrated their commitment to community service as a Board Member and Chair of the Human Resources Committee at Interact, a nonprofit agency supporting victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Early in their career, they gained experience as an associate in a civil defense litigation firm and as an Assistant Investigator at the Santa Barbara County Public Defender's Office. Cathi (CJ) also served as a Foreign Language Teacher through the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program, teaching English at public middle and high schools in Japan.

Throughout their career, Cathi has shown a dedication to legal expertise and a passion for supporting diverse communities and promoting equity and inclusion.

Cathi (CJ) Hunt completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Reed College. Cathi (CJ) pursued further studies and earned a Master of Arts degree in Criminology from the University of Melbourne. Subsequently, they attended Boston College Law School and obtained a Juris Doctorate degree.
