Michael Sheedy

Michael Sheedy has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Michael is currently the Director of Information Security GRC at Vontier, a position they have held since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate Director at Invesco Ltd. from March 2020 to June 2021. Before joining Invesco Ltd., Michael held the role of Senior Manager - Technology Risk & Controls at Invesco from April 2018 to March 2020. From July 2013 to March 2018, they worked as an Independent Consultant at SMOJ LLC. Michael also served as a GRC Solution Architect at Direct Energy from June 2017 to February 2018. Michael's previous experience also includes working as a Senior Security Consultant at Shell Trading from August 2013 to December 2016, and as a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young from January 1998 to June 2013. Michael started their career as a Programmer at the Texas Department of Health, Bureau of Vital Statistics from July 1996 to December 1998.

Michael Sheedy attended Texas A&M University from 1990 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management Information Systems.
