O.B. has extensive work experience in various industries and roles. From 2000 to 2003, O.B. worked as an Electrical Engineer in the automotive industry, focusing on test circuits and process improvement. From 2003 to 2006, O.B. served as a Controls Engineer at Carrier Corporation, where they were responsible for equipment maintenance, process improvement, and project management. At Hamilton Sundstrand, from 2006 to 2011, O.B. held roles as a Senior Design Engineer and Project Manager/IPT Team Lead, managing smoke detection projects and developing new smoke detection equipment for aviation. From 2011 to 2022, O.B. worked at Sensus as a Senior Engineering Design Manager, Senior Director of Engineering, and Vice President - Chief Systems Architect, focusing on product integration, smart grid implementation, and communications platforms. Finally, since 2022, O.B. has been working as a Director of Analytics at Vontier.

OB holds a Master's degree in Systems Architecture and Engineering from the University of Southern California. O also has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Purdue University. Additionally, OB earned an MBA in Venture Capital and Entrepreneurship from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business.
