Steve Gigou has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. Steve started their career as a Stagiaire (Chef de projet, développeur, consultant) at the Ministère de l'Intérieur, where they developed applications and improved work conditions using HTML, CSS, and J2EE.
After that, Steve worked as a Stage - Ingénieur logiciel at CSC, where they were involved in developing and working on HTML 5 training materials, focusing on good development practices and standards.
Steve then continued their career at CSC as an Ingénieur d'études, specializing in information and communication technologies. Steve contributed to the SIRIUS project for Groupe SNCF, where they developed an application in Objective C for iPad and worked in a large team following Agile methods. Steve was also involved in module design and debugging.
Steve later joined Golf42 as an Associé - Ingénieur logiciel fullstack. At Golf42, they designed, managed, and implemented their entire solution, including video training systems, website, and mobile applications.
Following their time at Golf42, Steve worked at FIZEN as a Chef de projet - Ingénieur fullstack, where they introduced agile methodologies like Scrum to the team of 8 developers.
As a Freelance Software Engineer under their own name, Steve developed iOS apps and provided corporate consulting services, including creating the RPLife app for iPhone.
Currently, Steve is employed at Voodoo as a Tech Engineer, where they are responsible for frontend and backend software engineering. Steve also served as the Lead Tech Engineer on the Blitz project, coordinating mobile platform development on iOS and Android.
Steve Gigou attended Lycée Militaire de Saint Cyr l'École from 2004 to 2007, where they completed their Bac S degree with a focus on Mathematics. Steve then pursued their higher education at EPITA: Ecole d'Ingénieurs en Informatique from 2007 to 2012, obtaining their Diplôme d'ingénieur in Multimedia and Information Technologies.
