Vijay Rao

Vijay Rao has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Vijay currently holds the position of Principal Engineer at Vortex since October 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Senior Research & Development Engineer at Vortex from January 2020 to October 2021.

Before joining Vortex, Vijay worked at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, where they held various research positions. Vijay served as a Senior Research Engineer from January 2019 to June 2019, a Research Scholar from July 2012 to December 2018, and a Junior Research Fellow from June 2010 to July 2012.

Vijay Rao is an individual with a strong educational background. Vijay obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Embedded Systems and Communication Protocols for Constrained Devices from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. This degree was earned between the years 2012 and 2019. Prior to their doctoral studies, Vijay completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electronics Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Surat from 2006 to 2010.

Additionally, Vijay has acquired several certifications to enhance their professional skills. In April 2021, they obtained the Level 3 Award in Leadership & Management (8600-11) from the ILM. In August 2022, they received the FAA Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health and the FFA Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work, both from Nuco Training Ltd. These certifications demonstrate their commitment to continuous learning and development beyond their formal education.
