Michael Bookhout is an experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in project management and engineering roles. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Vortex Optics since November 2021, Michael has previously worked as a Test Engineer at Northrop Grumman and a Propulsion and System Engineer at Cirrus Aircraft. Additional experience includes positions as a Design Engineer at Cane Creek Cycling Components and as an Engineer at US Airways. Michael’s earlier roles also encompass engineering positions at Ingersoll Rand, where responsibilities included Project Engineer duties in Lifecycle engineering and as a Project Engineer focused on reaction wheels for satellite guidance systems. Michael began the career as an Engineering Intern at Ingersoll Rand, following the attainment of a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from Binghamton University in 2007.
