Christopher Dancel is a highly experienced data scientist and leader, currently serving as the Lead Data Scientist at Vortexa since October 2021. In this role, Christopher successfully managed the technical implementation of the Anywhere Freight Pricing project, providing updated freight rates for over 70 million routes globally. Previously, Christopher held positions as Senior Data Scientist, where sophisticated models were designed for predicting freight prices and social care package usage amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. With extensive expertise in statistical modeling, data manipulation, and automation across various industries including healthcare, retail, and energy, Christopher has a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions. Christopher's academic background includes a PhD and MSci in Physics from Imperial College London.
