John-Robert Granell

JR is Head of the Application Development Team at Vortexa and possesses over 10 years experience building software across startups, enterprise and digital agencies within both the private and public sectors. JR’s team is responsible for getting the data into the hands of the users via Vortexa’s best-in-class analytics platform.

Prior to this, he had a career in the British Army as an Officer in the Royal Anglian Regiment with multiple deployments to operational theatres. This experience of leadership and management, coupled with deep engineering and product experience, has enabled him to marry technical delivery with commercial objectives.

JR holds a Masters degree in Psychology from the University of Aberdeen.
