Samuel McLaughlin is the Chief Product Officer at Vorto. Prior to joining Vorto, they were the Founder and CEO of Floco Apps LLC, a mobile app development company they founded in 2010.
Under Samuel's leadership, Floco Apps developed a number of successful products, including ShaleApps, a startup which built a scalable logistics SaaS for domestic transportation in the energy sector (Acquired, 2016); the Mercer Select iOS app for Mercer, a Marsh and McLennan subsidiary; and the AccessNote and AccessWorld iOS apps for the American Foundation for the Blind.
In addition to their work with Floco Apps, Samuel has also worked with a local startup to raise Angel and Series A rounds for a venture to build better tools for mission-driven non-profits and political campaigns. Samuel has also provided free support to budding entrepreneurs at the WVU Launch Lab.
