Marcelo Cecchetto

Marcelo Cecchetto has over 15 years of private equity experience in Brazil and currently serves as a partner at HIX Capital, focusing on late-stage and growth minority investments. Prior to HIX Capital, Marcelo was instrumental in developing H.I.G. Capital's presence in Latin America, where they recruited investment professionals and created a strong deal flow. They held various roles at Icatu, overseeing private equity and real estate investments, and have been a member of the Board of Directors for eight companies, including serving as Chairman at Elekeiroz, Office Total, and Tecfill. Marcelo is a CFA Charterholder and graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, and they are fluent in both Portuguese and English.
