Natalia Meergus has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Natalia started their career at Gteko as a Senior Software Developer, where they developed core components, designed UI, and trained other teams. Natalia then moved on to Microsoft as an Architect, where they guided the conversion of the manual QA department to a Test Automation department and mentored novice developers.

After Microsoft, Natalia joined Better Place as a Lead Software Development Engineer in Test, where they improved the quality of the electric vehicle in-car connected system and developed test tools. Natalia then transitioned to PeriGen as a Software Quality Architect, taking overall responsibility for the quality of the company's fetal monitoring system for hospitals. Natalia implemented build-test-deploy workflows, introduced automated end-to-end testing, and led the transition to a test-first process.

Natalia later joined QCore (now Eitan Medical) as a Senior Automation Developer, where they worked on test automation, manual testing leadership, and TFS tools development and support. Natalia also led the integration of Model-Based Testing using Conformiq products. After that, they joined Votiro as an Automation, DevOps, and ML Engineer.

Currently, Natalia is working at Sela as an Automation and ML consultant. Natalia'sresponsibilities include test automation, ML/MLOps consulting, training, and speaking engagements. Natalia is also a practitioner and evangelizer of Model-Based Testing.

Throughout their career, Natalia has developed strong technical skills in various programming languages and tools such as C#, C++, .NET, WPF, SQL Server, and Microsoft TFS. Natalia has demonstrated expertise in automation, test-driven development, and process improvement.

Natalia Meergus completed their BSc + MSc in Applied Mathematics at the State University of Moldova from 1989 to 1994. Natalia then pursued an MSc in Computer Science from Reichman University from 2020 to 2024. Additionally, they obtained the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (Cum Laude) certification from ITCB in December 2012.
