Together, John and Taylor recognized the challenges actors face, particularly the money lost when travel prevents them from auditioning or performing unless they rent out costly studios on the road. Even worse, many are forced to cobble together makeshift setups on the fly—stuffing gear into bags, draping blankets over furniture, or squeezing into hotel closets surrounded by pillows—just to capture a passable recording.

They also saw how amateur voice actors often don’t know where to start—struggling to figure out which microphone, audio interface, filters, headphones, or software they need just to begin recording. The process can be overwhelming, expensive, and filled with trial-and-error.

That knowledge led to the creation of VoxBoy, the first-ever mobile voiceover studio. Built to resolve these pain points, VoxBoy eliminates the guesswork of where to start or what gear to buy—delivering a ready-to-use package with everything needed to record instantly.
For working talent, its rugged, carry-on sized design ensures you’ll never miss an audition or job while traveling, offering a protected, plug-and-play solution built for life on the go.
