Ivan Shmakov

Ivan Shmakov has a diverse range of work experience in the software development field. Ivan started their career at Ichi-Ban Telecom in 2007 as a Bussines Owner, specializing in Voice and Video Integration to Adobe Flash. Ivan also handled marketing, sales, and client support. In 2009, they joined VideoMost as a VCS Professional - Software Developer, contributing to the development of high-quality video communication software. Ivan worked in this role until 2014. At the same time, Ivan also worked with SPIRIT Navigation as a Software Developer on an off-hour basis, specializing in satellite navigation receivers and data communications. Ivan joined OpenSource in 2014 as an Opensource Developer, contributing to projects like OpenFire and Gloox. Ivan's most recent position is at VoxImplant, where they work as a Senior VoIP Software Developer, focusing on various VoIP solutions, including web-RTC to SIP gateway, video conferencing, and encryption of media streams.

Ivan Shmakov completed their education at the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute). From 1996 to 2002, they attained a degree in Applied Mathematics. Following that, they pursued a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics from 2002 to 2005.
