Ash Roots

Ash Roots is an accomplished technology and product leader currently serving as the Chief Product and Technology Officer at VoxSmart since February 2025 and as a Consultant for Portokali from January 2024. Previously, Ash held the position of Chief Digital Officer at the University of Exeter (February 2022 - September 2023), where a digital strategy was defined and executed to transform higher education. Prior roles include Chief Digital Officer at BT (June 2018 - February 2022), overseeing digital sales and customer experience, and at Currys plc (September 2017 - June 2018), focusing on digital strategy. Ash holds a 1st Class BA(hons) in Multimedia Design from De Montfort University and attended Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys.
