Ryan Wicks

Chief Scientist at Voyis

Ryan Wicks is a Chief Scientist at Voyis where he develops new underwater laser scanners and camera systems. Previously, Ryan worked as a Ph.D Candidate at the Quantum Materials Laboratory at UBC, where he conducted research on novel materials. He has also worked as a Teaching Assistant at UBC, a Club Executive at UBC Sailing, an Office Assistant at Janick Electric Ltd., a Marker at Queen's University, a Research Assistant at the Royal Military College of Canada, and an Officer Cadet in the Canadian Forces. Ryan holds a MSc and Ph.D in Physics-Condensed Matter from The University of British Columbia, a BSc.H in Physics from Queen's University, a B.Eng in Electrical Engineering from Royal Military College of Canada, and a Nano Degree in Sensor Fusion from Udacity.
