John Clukey

John Clukey is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the tech industry. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Voze since January 2025, John previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Route from April 2020 to January 2025. Prior experience includes serving as a Software Engineer at Instructure from May 2015 to April 2020 and working as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Utah in early 2015, where John assisted in teaching computer science courses. John’s career began as a Bookseller and Section Leader at Weller Book Works, where responsibilities included used book buying and coordinating events from September 2006 to January 2015. Educationally, John earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a Mathematics Minor from the University of Utah between 1998 and 2015, having earlier completed an Associate of Arts in College Studies at Brigham Young University - Idaho from 1996 to 1997.
