RJ Smith is a skilled software developer with extensive experience in backend development and software engineering. As the Lead Backend Developer at Voze since August 2016, RJ has successfully led a team in the implementation of AI services utilizing ASR and NLP technologies, focusing on data transcription and extraction with tools like Typescript, Python, Nodejs, and Spacy. Previous roles include optimizing app sync times and reducing error rates for mobile applications at Voze, as well as engineering patented software for Domo, Inc. RJ holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Brigham Young University. Prior experiences include internships at Anglepoint Inc. and ContentWatch, along with IT support at Patriot Home Mortgage.
