Stephen Hyland

Stephen Hyland has a strong background in technology, with experience in various roles and companies. Stephen worked at VPAR from 2017, starting as a Senior Software Developer Team Lead and later becoming the Head of Technology. In 2018, they co-founded The Development Yard. Stephen joined YouSoft Ltd in 2015 as a .Net Software Developer and worked there until 2017. Starting in 2008, Stephen worked at Dublin Business School / Kaplan in several roles, including Software Developer, Junior Software Developer, Senior Lead Technical Engineer, Acting Helpdesk Manager, Senior Technical Engineer, and Technical Engineer. In 2022, they joined Hunch as a Non Executive Director and CTO.

Stephen Hyland completed a Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering at Technological University Dublin between 2005 and 2008. In 2010, they pursued a Diploma in Project Management at Dublin Business School. In the same year, Stephen also obtained an Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) qualification from Apple and an ITIL v3 certificate from ITIL.
