VPN Socket is a technology initiative founded by Russian professionals in exile to expand access to a secure and open internet.

We build infrastructure that enables journalists, media organizations, creators, and digital communities to launch their own branded VPN services. Our white-label platform provides the technical foundation for partners to create independent connectivity solutions for their audiences.

Alongside supporting partners in building their own VPN products, we remain committed to the public-interest mission of expanding safe access to information. Through our network, we also help distribute free VPN access to vulnerable users who depend on secure connectivity to access independent media and communicate safely. Our VPN model allows individuals to create private networks and securely provide access to friends and family.

VPN Socket operates at the intersection of digital security, independent media, and open access to information. We are endorsed by NED, EED, and OTF.
