Andreas Schmidt

Andreas Schmidt has extensive work experience in various positions and industries. Andreas started their career in 1997 at Dresdner Bank AG, where they served as Head of Regulatory Issues for almost a decade. Andreas then joined Sal. Oppenheim jr. & Cie. AG & Co. KGaA as Head of Group Risk Management and Head of Market Risk Management. After that, they worked as a Principal at The Boston Consulting Group. Andreas later joined Deutsche Bank as Global Head of Regulatory Advisory. Following that, they served as Managing Director Head of Risk Management & Compliance at VR Leasing Gruppe. Their most recent roles include Managing Director Head of Corporate Development and Managing Director Head of Customer Solution Unit at VR Smart Finanz.

Andreas Schmidt pursued their education at the University of Mannheim, where they obtained a Diplom-Kaufmann certification. Andreas then went on to further their studies at the same university and completed a degree in Betriebswirtschaftslehre, earning the title of Doktor rer. pol. in 1997.
