VraiVrai Films was launched in 2011 from Florent Coulon's ambition to co-produce documentaries by authors from the African continent. Today, we are dedicated to producing feature-length documentaries and fictions that foster an intimate and political dialogue between 'here' and 'there'.

Through the complementary views of our French, Beninese and Cuban associate producers, our editorial line reflects in-depth questioning of the concept of otherness and aims to reinvent North-South relations, still strongly impacted by the history of slavery and colonization.

We believe in a cinematographic journey, above all a personal one, by focusing on the discovery of new authors whose singular vision contributes to the movement of ideas about the challenges of the world today and of tomorrow.
