McLean Trott

McLean Trott, Ph.D, P.Geo, is an exploration geologist with extensive experience in geochemistry and data science, primarily focused on porphyry copper exploration across the Americas. Since beginning their career in 2005, McLean has held various positions, including Senior Geologist at First Quantum Minerals LTD and Senior Exploration Geoscientist at GoldSpot Discoveries Corp. Currently, McLean is pursuing a Ph.D. at Queen's University, enhancing their expertise at the intersection of data science and mineral exploration. They aim to leverage data to modernize the exploration industry and contribute to sustainable mineral resource discovery.
