Özer Özdal

Özer Özdal is a highly experienced professional in the fields of machine learning and data science, currently serving as a Senior Developer in MLOps at VRIFY since October 2025. Prior to this role, Özer worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Caylent, where responsibilities included designing scalable MLOps solutions and leading the development of the MLOps Catalyst product. Özer's experience also includes a position as a Senior Data Scientist at the Canadian Red Cross, where machine learning models for donor engagement and the development of a bilingual chatbot were key contributions. With a strong foundation in machine learning from roles at ALS GoldSpot Discoveries Ltd., Breathe BioMedical, and academic research positions at Concordia University and other institutions, Özer holds a PhD in Physics from Concordia University along with additional degrees from McGill University and Izmir Institute of Technology.
