William Brune

William Brune has a diverse background in software development, with experience ranging from solutions architecture to software consulting. William started their career at Boston Financial Data Services, where they performed process analysis and developed best practices documentation for financial transaction processing. William then moved to DST Systems as a Senior Programmer, specializing in COBOL, SQL, and DB2. In this role, they also served as a subject matter expert for business and technical areas. Later, they joined Netsmart as a Software Engineer, providing support for a Java JSP Medical Management Product and taking over support and development of an AngularJS application. William then worked as a Software Consultant at Keyhole Software before joining LendingStandard as a Software Architect. In this role, they upgraded legacy Grails systems to a new microservice-based framework and implemented AWS Cognito validation. Currently, they are working as a Solutions Architect at VRIZE.

William Brune has a bachelor's degree in Business with a major in Economics from Washburn University, which they obtained from 1997 to 2000. From 2016 to 2020, they attended Kansas State University, where they studied Computer Programming with a focus on specific applications. Additionally, they obtained several certifications from Lynda.com, including "JavaScript and AJAX: Integration Techniques" in December 2018, "C# & .NET: Programming" in July 2018, "C# Best Practices for Developers" in July 2018, and "Programming Foundations: Data Structures" in May 2016.
