Alain Ryckman

Alain Ryckman is currently the Head of the VRT Radio Imaging Team, where they lead a group responsible for producing approximately 1,800 radio spots and as many jingles annually for various VRT brands. From 2018 to 2023, Alain served as Project Leader for design and promotion at VRT, facilitating audio projects and internal organization within the audio branding community. They previously gained experience as a Radio DJ at Radio Beach between 1990 and 1995 and worked as a sound engineer and mixmaster for Radio Donna. Alain also contributed as a composer and performer for various radio jingles and promotional content. They hold a degree in audio/electronics engineering from Katholieke Hogeschool Brugge-Oostende and completed a program in copywriting and production for radio spots at The Radio Workshops.
