Jo Martens has an extensive background in media research, beginning as an Administrative Campus Officer at PHL Departement Architecture from 1998 to 2000. From 2000 to 2005, they served as a Senior Market Researcher at Kantar TNS. Since 2005, Jo has held the position of Senior Market Researcher at VRT, where they focus on data collection, analysis, and reporting related to strategic media issues. In addition, Jo has contributed to various committees for the national JIC (CIM). Jo completed a Master’s degree in political sciences at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and became a certified data analyst through Syntra Antwerpen en Vlaams Brabant in 2021.
