Maaike Joris is currently an eindredacteur at VRT, overseeing regional news for Radio 2 in Antwerp. They have previously held positions as a reporter and coördinator within the Proxiredactie at Radio 2. In addition to their journalism career, Maaike is active as a yogaleraar at Sumi Yoga and AntwerpYoga since 2024. They completed a 200-hour Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher Training at AntwerpYoga and hold a Master's degree in Communication Sciences from Universiteit Gent, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in the same field from Universiteit Antwerpen.
