Peter De Paepe leads VRT Sandbox, an accelerator dedicated to media innovation in collaboration with startups and scale-ups at VRT, the public broadcaster in Flanders. They coordinate the "Seeds & Growth For Media" program, focusing on various media-related topics such as AI and gaming while also serving as part of the VC fund Media Invest Flanders. With over 20 years in media production, Peter began their career at Radio 2 and later became a Program Manager at MNM, where they significantly contributed to the station's development. Educated in Radio and Audiovisual Arts at Erasmushogeschool Brussel, Peter is also a partner in STADIEM, a Pan-European Media Accelerator. In their free time, they enjoy skiing, mountain biking, and playing mini-football.
