Jacob Brown

Jacob Brown is a Design Engineer at VS Engineering, Inc., since January 2021, specializing in roadway design. Previously, Jacob worked as a Roadway Inspector for Selectek, Inc., overseeing roadway inspections in Evansville. Jacob served in various leadership roles within the National Society of Black Engineers Carbondale from August 2016 to September 2020, including Vice President and Program Chair. Additional experience includes participation in the Steel Bridge team with the American Society of Civil Engineers and an Engineering Internship at SABIC, where Jacob gained practical experience in management and engineering. Jacob holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, earned from 2013 to 2019.
