John Sutphin

John Sutphin has extensive experience in the fire and security industry, currently serving as the Alarm Manager at VSC Fire & Security, Inc. since March 2017. Prior to this role, John worked at IES from February 2006 to March 2017, initially as a Field Supervisor and later as a Project Manager, overseeing multiple projects and directing work crews in the installation of fire and HVAC systems. John's earlier career includes positions at Actcom, where responsibilities included job scheduling and team leadership, and at ADT, where John managed day-to-day operations for a commercial security system company. Educational background includes attendance at Northern Virginia Community College and Computer Depot, as well as graduation from J.E.B. Stuart High School.
