Cameron Cole

Cameron Cole has extensive work experience as a data engineer. Most recently, they have been working at VSCO® as a Senior Data Engineer since September 2022. Prior to that, they held the same position at Qbiz Inc. from October 2020 to March 2022, and also worked as a Data Engineer at Wheels Up from October 2021 to February 2022.

In their previous roles, Cameron worked as a Data Engineer at Lyft from October 2020 to October 2021 and at Belcorp from August 2020 to October 2020. They also worked at Levi Strauss & Co. as a Data Engineer from September 2019 to August 2020, where they were responsible for various projects, including building a backend data pipeline and supporting inventory management during store closures.

Before that, Cameron worked as a Data Engineer at NerdWallet from April 2019 to September 2019 and at Coinbase from January 2019 to April 2019, where they successfully migrated the data platform from Python 2.7 to Python 3.6.

Their earliest work experience as a Data Engineer was at hiQ Labs, where they held the position from May 2016 to November 2018. During their time at hiQ Labs, Cameron contributed to various projects, such as developing a log management system and migrating a batch process pipeline to streaming. Additionally, they also served as a Data Science Intern at hiQ Labs from June 2015 to May 2016, where they recruited and managed a mechanical turking team and worked on website optimizations.

Cameron Cole holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cognitive Sciences from the University of California, Santa Cruz. In addition, Cameron has obtained certifications as an Analytics Expert and an Implementation Expert from Segment in May 2020.
