Jon Hollander is a seasoned software engineer and entrepreneur, currently serving as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at VSCO® since February 2025. With extensive freelance experience in full-stack software development since April 2012, Jon specializes in engineering and graphics design applications for the web, having created various innovative projects including AI background removal software and photobooth software server infrastructure. Previously, as Lead Software Engineer at Shaper from April 2020 to February 2025, Jon developed impactful design software such as Shaper Trace, a mobile web application utilizing real-time computer vision technology. Jon also founded and led Seriforge, a company focused on automating carbon fiber part manufacturing, until its acquisition in 2019. Prior to this technology career, Jon practiced law as an attorney and owned a patent prosecution firm, demonstrating expertise in intellectual property and technology-related legal matters.
