Corey Carleton serves as the Director of Advancement at Vermont Slauson Economic Development Corporation (VSEDC), focusing on community development and economic support for disadvantaged small businesses and low-income residents in South Los Angeles. With extensive experience in marketing, grant writing, and economic development consulting, Corey has held various roles, including Interim Marketing & PR Manager at VSEDC and Economic Development Consultant at Williams Consulting. Corey's involvement in the arts includes being a Board Member and Soprano for Tesserae Baroque and previous positions with the Los Angeles Chamber Singers and Les Violettes. Corey's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master's degree in Voice from Indiana University Bloomington.
