Luis Torres has a diverse work experience in the field of web development and engineering. Luis started their career in 1998 at Primedia as a Webmaster, where they built dynamic ColdFusion websites and was responsible for daily maintenance of multiple websites. Luis then worked at Doublespace as a ColdFusion Developer from 2000 to 2001. In 2001, Luis joined IT Partners Inc. as a Senior Web Developer, leading a team in developing ColdFusion e-commerce websites. Luis also developed a custom CMS for several websites during this time. From 2003 to 2005, Luis worked at Jasper Design as a Senior Web Developer. Luis then moved to Ecommercepartners.net and served as a Senior Web Developer from 2005 to 2007. Later, Luis worked at The Economist as a Developer from 2007 to 2010. Luis then joined Pereless Systems as a Web Developer for a brief period in 2010 before joining Funny Garbage as a Web Developer from 2010 to 2011. Currently, Luis works at VShift as a Senior Engineer, starting in 2011.

Luis Torres completed a certificate program in Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) at John Jay College's Continuing Education department in the year 2001.
