Mr James Eby

Mr. James Eby possesses extensive maritime engineering experience, currently serving as Chief Engineer at Vship since April 2012, where responsibilities include managing operations for dive ships and heavy lift pipelay. Previous roles include Technical Superintendent at Vships, and Chief Engineer positions at C-Mar Services Canada, overseeing projects related to pipe lay and dive ships. James has also worked at Marine Management, Rigel Canada, Botany Bay Management, Halifax Dartmouth Industries, and Secunda Marine as Chief Engineer, contributing to various vessel types including chemical tankers and tugs. James Eby holds a BA in Geology from Queen's University, Kingston, along with a Canadian First Class Engineer Motorship certification, recognized with the Pallus Prize for achieving the highest marks in Canada in 1981.
