Anne Harrop

Anne Harrop has extensive experience in community cohesion, peacebuilding, and social inclusion. Currently serving as the Adviser for Community Cohesion and Peacebuilding at VSO since 2019, Anne previously held the position of Director of Social Inclusion at the Aga Khan Foundation from March 2010 to April 2018. Additionally, Anne served as the Director of Policy and Research at the Joseph Rowntree Foundation from 2002 to March 2010 and as Deputy Director of the Social Research Branch at the Department of Work and Pensions from 1993 to 2002. Anne holds an MSc in Medical Demography from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a BA in African and Asian Studies/Social Anthropology from the University of Sussex.
