Daniel Shu has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2014, they worked as an Intern at Polymerex Medical Corp, where they redesigned a balloon catheter production machine and managed international engineers. Daniel also programmed and maintained PLC for catheter machines. In 2015, they served as a Research Assistant for Sunset Lab at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. In 2016, they worked as a Web Developer at Polymerex Medical Corp. Finally, in 2017, they joined VSolvit as a Cloud Engineer.
Daniel Shu completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly) between the years 2011 and 2015. In addition to their degree, they obtained the CompTIA Security+ (SY0-401) certification from CompTIA in December 2017 and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in January 2018.
