Andreas Schmidt-Ott is a Professor at TU Delft, specializing in Nanoparticle Technology, and has been in the role since 2001, transitioning to emeritus status in 2018. Prior to this, they served as a Professor of Measurement Technology at the University of Duisburg-Essen from 1989 to 2001 and held positions as a Research Fellow at the Atmospheric Physics Department of ETH Zurich and a Senior Research Scientist at the Solid State Physics Laboratory at ETH Zurich from 1982 to 1989. In addition to their academic roles, Schmidt-Ott has been an Advisor at VSPARTICLE and an Adjunct Professor at The Cyprus Institute since 2016.
