Joel Fontenot

Joel Fontenot has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Joel is currently serving as the Chief Strategy Officer and Board Member at vSpatial since April 2020. Prior to this, they were the Managing General Partner at Reditus Equity starting from June 2019. From November 2017 to December 2021, they held the position of Executive Chairman of the Board at Koupon Media, a company specializing in mobile marketing offers. Joel also served as a Board Member at Garland Insulating from January 2017 to August 2020 and at ENTOUCH from April 2017 to January 2019. Joel was the Managing Partner at Trailblazer Capital GP, LLC from September 2008 to January 2019. Joel Fontenot was the Chairman of the Board at Nitero, Inc. from an unknown start date to September 2018, where they contributed to the development of wireless technology for augmented and virtual reality. Joel was also a Member of the Advisory Board at OrderMyGear from January 2017 to February 2018. In addition, they briefly served as the President and Secretary at Oculus360, Inc. from March 2016 to September 2016. Joel started their career at Cisco as the Director of Business Development from June 2006 to September 2008.

Joel Fontenot began their education in 1975 and attended Jesuit College Prep until 1979. Following this, they enrolled at The University of Texas at Austin, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from 1979 to 1983. Later, in 1987, Joel attended the Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business, where they completed their Master of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Finance by 1988.
