David Moreels

David Moreels is an experienced professional with a strong background in business incubation and environmental science. Currently serving as the Business Incubator Manager at VUB TechTransfer since October 2021, David specializes in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship for startups, providing strategic guidance, and building partnerships. Prior to this role, David worked at Nelson Labs Europe as the Team Leader for Medical Devices Chemical Characterization from June 2013 to October 2021, where responsibilities included managing a team to ensure regulatory compliance and innovation. David also held positions as Study Director and Environmental Scientist Project Manager at MAVA and URS Corporation, focusing on soil investigations, remediation projects, and client relationship management. David holds an MBA from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management and a PhD in Biochemistry from KU Leuven.
