Bart Mayer has over 18 years of experience in the mining and materials industry, currently serving as the Director of Engineering and Operations Support at Vulcan Materials Company since November 2005. In this role, Bart oversees operations for various facilities, including a 3 million tons per year (mtpy) sand and gravel mine, a 500,000 tons per year (tpy) asphalt plant, and a 200,000 tpy recycle plant, along with previous positions such as Manager of Operations Support, Area Manager, and Plant Manager. Prior experience includes serving as the Head Foreman at a 2 mtpy limestone quarry with Material Service/General Dynamics. Bart holds a degree in Mining Engineering from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, completed in 2002.
