Chris Edwards

Dr. Chris Edwards is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the construction materials industry and academia. Currently serving as a part-time instructor at Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business since August 2023, Dr. Edwards also holds the position of Executive in Residence at Vulcan Materials Company, where leadership includes managing two granite quarries with a combined production of over 2 million tons. Previous roles include Plant Manager and various leadership positions at Lehigh Hanson, overseeing significant aggregate production and operational costs. Dr. Edwards possesses a Doctorate in Business Administration from Georgia State University and has held multiple educational roles, including Graduate Research Assistant and community involvement as a board member of the Greater Lithonia Chamber of Commerce.
