Mike Tornquist

Mike Tornquist is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the construction materials industry. Currently serving as the Regional Operations Manager for Vulcan Materials Company since November 2021, Mike previously held the position of Area Sales Manager within the same organization. Prior to this, Mike was the VP of Sales and Marketing at U.S. Concrete, Inc. from October 2015 to November 2021, where a focus on safety and customer value was emphasized. As the Director of Project Management during this tenure, Mike managed a team of project managers to ensure successful project completions. Mike's career began at US Concrete in 1998 as a Senior Account Manager, overseeing significant projects over $7 million, particularly in infrastructure. Earlier experience includes serving as Operations Manager at A R Readymix from 1991 to 1998.
