Raymond Burdick

Director Commercial Construction at Vulcan

Raymond Burdick has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. Raymond started their career as a Senior Project Manager at Skanska USA Building Inc., where they managed various biotechnical projects. Raymond was later promoted to Senior Project Manager and continued handling projects ranging from $19M to $450M in value until December 2006.

In 2007, Raymond joined Turner Construction as a Project Manager and Program Manager, overseeing a $350M+ project and a $1B data center program. Raymond managed the project team until mid-2007 when the project was shut down by the client.

From 2009 to 2013, Raymond worked as a Project Manager at Cockram, primarily managing biotechnical projects at Amgen's facilities. Raymond also handled projects in Amgen's Louisville, KY facility remotely.

In 2013, Raymond joined Vulcan Inc. and later moved to Vulcan Real Estate as the Director of Commercial Construction. Raymond currently holds this position, managing real estate and development in the South Lake Union area. Raymond is currently working on a Research and Development Brown Field Project for a local BioTechnical Research Facility with a value above $100 million.

Raymond Burdick obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics from the University of Minnesota, where they studied from 1988 to 1993. In addition to their formal education, they also received a certification in "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences" from LinkedIn in February 2021.
