Marko P.

Marko P. has a long and varied work experience. From 2009 to 2016, they held various roles at different companies. In 2009, they were the Student Papers Chairman at MIPRO and President at Savez Studenata Fakulteta Elektrotehnike i Racunarstva. In 2010, they were an IT Architecture, Standards and Processes Specialist and an Information Systems Planning and Investment Specialist at Croatian Telecom. From 2011 to 2015, they worked at ReversingLabs as a Software Developer and Junior Software Developer. In 2015, they were a Software Development Engineer at Real Networks. Finally, from 2016 to present, they have been the Director of Engineering at VuMedi, managing the engineering team and building and growing the team in Zagreb for a Bay area startup. Marko has implemented new products and features in Django using Postgres as the main SQL DB, and reduced page load time for video page from 4.5s+ to less than 1.

Marko P. completed a B.sc. in Computer Science at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb from 2005 to 2008. Marko then went on to receive an M.sc. in Computer Science from the same institution from 2008 to 2010. Additionally, Marko P. has obtained two certifications, Cryptography I from Stanford University in May 2021 and TOGAF 9 from The Open Group in July 2011.
