Sungduk Cho

Sungduk Cho is an AI Researcher at VUNO Inc. since March 2022, focusing on product R&D for VUNO Med®-LungCT AI™, specializing in nodule detection software. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Student at the High-performance Visual Computing Laboratory from June 2019 to February 2022, where notable achievements include winning 1st place in the TIGER Challenge and publishing research on medical image processing at ISBI 2021. Sungduk also organized the PAIP 2020 and 2021 Grand Challenges, contributing to papers presented at MedIA 2023 and BMC Medical Informatics. Earlier experience includes an undergraduate internship in hardware programming at the Computer Systems Security Lab. Sungduk holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Korea University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology.
