Curt Burger is an emeritus professor at Erasmus Medical Center Rotterdam, where they served in various leadership roles, including Vice-Dean of International Affairs and temporary chief of the Gynecologic Oncology division. They were also the Chair of the Medical Incident Evaluation Board from 2018 to 2023. With an extensive background as a gynecologic oncologist, Burger held positions at VU Medical Center Amsterdam and the Netherlands Cancer Institute. Currently, they are a member of the Ledenraad VVAA and Chair of the supervisory board of the Dutch Olijf foundation, which supports women with gynecologic cancer. Burger obtained a Master of Architecture in Medicine from the Free University Amsterdam.
