Susie Yu

Susie Yu has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Since 2023, they have served as the Vice President of Business Development at VyncaCare. Prior to this, Susie founded SKY Career Counseling in 2018, where they provided job search, resume, and interview coaching as well as career coaching services. Susie also advised small businesses and start-ups on organizational and management structure. In the same year, they became a Lecturer at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. From 2021 to 2023, Susie held the role of Senior Director of Community Outreach and Patient Engagement at Landmark Health, where they were responsible for designing and executing local outreach strategies and improving training processes. Susie also served as the Senior Director of the Center for Caregiver Advancement from 2018 to 2021, overseeing a workforce development program and identifying operational cost savings. Prior to these roles, Susie worked as a Director at COPE Health Solutions, where they managed a team and developed partnerships with various organizations. Susie was also a Recruiting Manager at CARANA Corporation, an International Recruiter at Engility Corporation, and a Program Officer/Program & Business Development Associate at Counterpart International. Susie began their career as a Production Assistant at Countrywide Home Loans. Throughout their career, they have achieved various accomplishments and recognition, such as being awarded Employee of the Month and an Annual Innovation Award.

Susie Yu obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from UC San Diego in the years 2000 to 2003. Susie then pursued further education and earned a Master of Arts degree in International Affairs from The George Washington University between 2008 and 2010. Additionally, in 2008, they participated in a study abroad program at Yonsei University, focusing on International/Global Studies.
