Mark Deaton

Mark Deaton has over 30 years of work experience, beginning with their role as an Instrumentalist in the US Air Force in 1985. Mark then moved on to become a Research Associate for the State of Alabama in 1988, followed by a role as a Data Network Administrator and PC/Telecommunications Coordinator for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in 1990. In 1998, they became a Sr. Systems Engineer at Convergent Communications, and in 2000, they were appointed as the Director of Information Technology at OpenTable. In 2001, they took on the role of Director of Technical Services at ProBusiness, and in 2005, they became a Principal and Co-Founder of Gryphon Investment Properties, LLC. In 2010, they were appointed as the SVP of Customer Care at PeopleMatter, and in 2014, they became the Head of Customer Success at GoAnimate. Finally, in 2018, they were appointed as the Chief Operating Officer at Vyond.

Mark Deaton received their MBA in Financial Economics from Auburn University at Montgomery between 1985 and 1988. Prior to that, they earned their BS in Music and Music Industry from The University of Southern Mississippi between 1980 and 1985.
